Complementary feed for horses

MediGuard Vitamin C is a concentrate that aids in collagen synthesis. Vitamin C is an important antioxidant that works with vitamin E to reduce free radicals. It is normally produced in sufficient quantities by the body, due to the presence of enzymes and L-gulonolactone oxidase. Horses under stress from training, competition and the older or recovering horse may have depleted plasma concentrations of vitamin C, therefore additional vitamin C may be required to support immune function.

Dosage (with daily concentrated feed):
(1 gr => 987 mg Vit. C)
(1 scoop = 5 gr)
-Maintenance: 1 gr per day for 3-5 days
-During illness or stress: 5 gr per day for 3-5 days
-Training and sports: 5 g per day for 3-5 days
