Mineral complex to support carbohydrate metabolism

Glucogard is designed as a nutrient concentrate for horses with metabolic disorders. Sugar and insulin metabolism is dependent on a sufficient supply of B-complex vitamins and minerals such as magnesium, zinc, manganese and trivalent chromium. Cell-protecting vital substances such as vitamin E and selenium contribute to the integrity of the insulin molecules and to the protection of the sensitive hoof dermis. Nutrients from brewer's yeast and certain forage herbs also support insulin in blood sugar regulation. As a nutritional supplement for metabolic disorders and during the grazing season. Provides minerals in pure roughage rations.

Recommended dosage: (e.g. with Equigard or with a raw food only diet)
- For acute metabolic problems:
Approx. 50 g per 100 kg body weight per day; if
necessary, soak in water and give with a mouth syringe.
- For the metabolism and support of the hooves, especially in critical
weather conditions and pasture situations:
Approx. 18-20 g per 100 kg body weight and per
daily until desired weight is reached or permanently if insulin function is impaired.

Due to the higher levels of vitamins and trace elements compared to complete animal feed, this nutritional supplement may only be fed to horses up to a maximum of 2.9% of the daily portion (incl. hay). Please adhere to the feeding advice.
