Alfalfa Chaff 15 kg

Alfalfa has many benefits, both nutritionally and for general health. It is high in protein and essential amino acids, which are necessary for muscle development, performance and recovery, but also for the development of the unborn foal and a higher quality of the colostrum. In addition, it provides slow-release energy, which gives it stamina without the horses getting too hot. Because it is high in fiber, it stimulates intestinal health, increases the chewing behavior of the horse and therefore contributes to keeping the pH in the stomach optimal. By adding alfalfa to the horse's ration, the general quality of the feed increases.
Ideal for horses in medium to heavy work, older horses requiring extra condition or horses that benefit from chaff that is rich in protein and calories.

Nutritional guidelines

Feed 100 - 600 g per 100 kg body weight per day in combination with free access to roughage. Do not feed more than 600 g per 100 kg body weight per day in total. Divide this over at least 2-3 portions per day. Ensure a minimum consumption of 1.5 kg per 100 kg body weight of roughage per day. Fresh drinking water must always be available. For use on certain species only.
