Barley Rings is a fully balanced barley and linseed mash which can be used to gain weight. This feed can be fed dry or soaked. Historically, barley and linseed were used to fatten horses. Dodson & Horrell have taken this concept and improved the nutritionals to make it fully balanced and easily digestible. It is high in oil and protein for weight gain, condition and topline. It is scientifically balanced to compensate for the natural imbalances of barley, unlike traditional mash.
Feed 400 g – 1 kg per 100 kg body weight per day in combination with free access to roughage. Do not feed more than 1 kg per 100 kg body weight per day in total. Divide this over at least 2-3 portions per day. Ensure a minimum consumption of 2kg per 100kg body weight of roughage per day. Fresh drinking water must always be available. For use on certain species only.
