Acidifying drinking water benefits the health of birds. The reason for this is simple: bacteria and/or micro-organisms grow poorly in an acidic environment. Normal tap water has a pH of 7 to 8 (=acidity). Acidifying drinking water is not difficult. We can add a weak acid such as apple cider vinegar to tap or spring water with the aim of giving the water a lower acidity (pH value).

Dosage :
-Birds: 5-10 ml per litre of water, 10 days
-Pigeons: 10-20 ml per litre of water, 10 days
