The Glyx-Wiese senior fibre also provides horses with a need-based supply of roughage that can no longer absorb longer fibres. The chopped structure facilitates the intake of roughage with the same saliva production, which can significantly increase the total quantity. This is particularly recommended if horses can no longer consume sufficient hay due to jaw or dental problems. The senior fibre can be fed dry or soaked in water. Due to the gentle production process, the senior fibre is dust-free.

Nutritional advice:
As an alternative to basic feed: 1.2-1.5 kg per 100 kg body weight per day

To upgrade the basic feed: adjust the quantity to the basic feed stock

1 kg senior fibre replaces 1 kg hay. Feed slowly.

To meet the required roughage requirement of horses with dental or chewing problems, 1.2-1.5 kg per 100 kg body weight of senior fiber should be fed daily, so that weight loss can be counteracted. Senior fiber is suitable as an alternative to roughage or for upgrading hay or haylage and as a feed substitute for horses that are supposed to get little or no grain. For large horses, positive effects on digestion and nutritional status can be determined from 2 kg per day.
