Complementary feed for horses

\nBrandon® xs is a molasses-free feed and suitable for horses with normal performance requirements that require a low glycemic feed. Brandon® xs is the standard version. Through a special processing (lactofermentation), the easily digestible carbohydrates are bound in -glycosidic form and are therefore not enzymatically broken down and reabsorbed in the small intestine as usual, but usually reach the large intestine, where they are fermented. As a result, the standard version Brandon® xs has a relatively low glycemic index despite the grain content and is suitable as: \n

  • Concentrated feed for horses with normal performance requirements.

  • Complete feed for old horses and horses that have to go without hay and straw temporarily due to problems

  • Concentrated feed in combination with grains (e.g. oats) for horses with high performance requirements

\nNutritional advice:\n0.5-1.0 kg per 100 kg body weight per day in at least 3 portions. Hay ad libitum or as prescribed by the veterinarian. \n\n1 liter corresponds to approx. 700 g\n\nNutrition tip:\nDue to the higher content of vitamins and trace elements, this supplementary feed may be given to horses up to 71.4% of the daily ration (including hay) compared to complete feed.
